Image artist and filmmaker based in Madrid, Spain and beyond

Born in Madrid just a few months before the fall of the Berlin Wall, grew interested in arts. Quitted Psychology at university after developing a love and passion for photography. That led to an upper degree on Image where discovered the world of the darkroom and traditional photography, while got interested by lighting for motion and still images. And so enrolled ECAM, Madrid Film School. Pesently works both mediums, still and moving, as they have so many things in common.
Likes to think painting is a big influence on his work, for composition and understanding of an image. Especially the most known painter Edward Hopper. As for motion photography influences, loves the work of Sven Nykvist and Nestor Almendros. While in still photography tends to look at the work of Elliot Erwitt, Saul Leiter, Martin Parr, Josef Koudelka, Brassai... But the biggest influence, not by the photographic theme, but by the passion and love to photography is Cristina García Rodero (Magnum Photos) As he was blessed being able to work in her studio. The scanner used for digitalizing the work was a personal gift from her, a wonderful photographer and human being.
